WHAT: Hawai‘i State Legislature’s Kūpuna Caucus to unveil package of bills to be introduced in the 2016 Legislative Session

State Senator Suzanne Chun Oakland and fellow Kūpuna Caucus co-conveners, Senator Les Ihara, Jr. and Representative Gregg Takayama, along with members of the Caucus, will announce and discuss the package of bills that are being introduced in the 2016 Legislative Session.

The measures address a wide range of issues that affect our seniors’ health and well-being, as well as that of their families.

The Kūpuna Caucus is comprised of 18 state legislators, from both the House and the Senate, both Republican and Democrat. Members of the Kūpuna Caucus include community advocates for our seniors, government departments and individuals concerned about the health and safety of the elderly.
